Ali Warshavsky is currently a freelance traffic anchor for Fox 5 New York. When she's not on TV, she is training CEO's and executives to speak on-camera as a media trainer at Allison + Partners. Ali also provides consult to clients on their media strategy. She thrives off of breaking news and finding new creative ways to deliver it. She is a born story teller and often reports for the National Havoc Robot League where she shares the stories behind the combat robotics builders. Previous to this position, Ali was a freelance reporter and anchor for News 12 networks, reporting on breaking news and enterprising story ideas throughout the Tri-State area. When the pandemic hit, she took on the role to cover the Governor's Covid-19 response for WNPR, Connecticut's NPR affiliate. Some of her work has been used nationally. Ali has experience in all areas of the news industry. She started her career as an MMJ and anchor and also spent many years as a traffic reporter. From August 2017- November 2018, Ali was the traffic and entertainment reporter for FiOS 1 News. She produced her own traffic and entertainment reports that were broadcasted throughout the Tri-State area. Ali returned back to the Tri-state area after time as a traffic anchor at CBS North Carolina where she also had the opportunity to report and anchor. From 2014 to 2016, Ali was a morning traffic anchor/fill-in anchor and general assignment reporter at News 12 Connecticut. She hosted "Quick Tips," the channel's one minute cooking tips segment that aired weekday afternoons. Ali was nominated for two Connecticut Associate Press Awards for breaking news and features reporting. Ali's first on-air job was at Fox affiliate WICZ in Binghamton, New York where she was the weekday 10 pm anchor. She was also the co-producer of the 10pm newscast and nightside reporter.
